Message from the desk of President
Intellectual property is presently regarded as an important avenue in healthcare. The discovery of novel therapeutic modalities and devices as well as related endeavours call for the protection of innovations
It must be said in all fairness that the protection of scientific, medical and technological innovations unfurls a myriad of events and developments that culminate in novel and improved therapeutic pathways, new medications and indigenous medical/surgical devices. The bottom line is that people should live healthily and for many more years.
Research and development backed by stringent quality continue to be the backbone of intellectual property and quite naturally, the systems and processes need to be in place so as to realise the desired outcome.
HIPRA has taken the lead in this direction and I am quite hopeful that the think tank would spare no efforts in propagating awareness on IP as related to health care and that ultimately would result in newer inventions, novel technologies, distinct modalities and above all would signal our commitment towards fostering a healthier, happier and safe tomorrow, thanks to the constant improvement and enhancement that we hope to envisage in the frontiers of health care.
